Saab gets the birthday blues

No bus passes for Saab as it reaches its 60th birthday. Instead, it's birch-slapping away the wrinkly blues with special Anniversary Editions of the 9-3 and 9-5.

These models come in a variety of colours and can also be ordered in a unique Ice Blue Metallic at no extra cost.

Also free with the Anniversary Editions is a black and grey interior, finished in leather in the 9-5 versions.

There are 17in alloys for all models, and DVD satellite navigation. The 9-3 comes with a Bluetooth phone system, and the 9-5 estate model can be ordered with matt chrome roof rails.

In all, the freebies are worth up to £3,000, which is something for Saab customers to celebrate.
