Mini Clubman
LONDON — BMW's Mini division continues to tease us with sneak peeks at next year's Clubman wagon.
The latest official sketch mirrors the Mini Traveller concepts that were displayed earlier this year at the Detroit and Geneva shows. The official production version of the Clubman is slated to be unveiled in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with the car going on sale in Europe in early 2008.
The Clubman will extend the Mini range with a wagonlike body style that features a second set of mini doors to aid access to the rear compartment. There's a larger trunk as well.
The U.S.-spec edition is likely to be offered in both standard and S variants. Still no word on Mini's plan to offer diesel variants in the States.
