Is this is the new 2007 Toyota Tundra?
Well, yes, as that's pretty obvious. The question is this the final production-ready version? My guess is yes—but until the Toyota boys give their blessing, it's still just a guess...
Assuming that it is, here's my take: It's big and bold, but also safe and predictable. It's classic Toyota design. There's nothing here to offend anyone. There's also nothing style-wise to get really excited about either—at least from what I see here. Who knows, from other angles it may well be exciting to look at.
It does appear to be better looking than the outgoing model. At least the grille has been injected with massive doses of testosterone, which is a must-have for this market segment.
The "official" debut of the 2007 Toyota Tundra will be at the Chicago car show in a few weeks. Stay tuned...
