BMW Rolls Out M6 Convertible Holiday Catalog
WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. — BMW will offer a Limited Edition Individual 2007 M6 Convertible in a custom ruby black exterior finish through the 2006 Neiman Marcus Christmas book.
The automaker said it will do a limited production run of 50 copies of the car, which is equipped with a 5.0-liter V10 engine that makes 500 horsepower and is linked to a seven-speed sequential manual transmission.
Orders for the vehicle will be taken by phone starting at noon Eastern time on October 18, the automaker said. The car is equipped with an 11-speaker Surround Sound stereo and six-disc CD changer. The cabin is trimmed in piano black and features power sport seats wrapped in gold brown merino leather.
The package includes two round-trip Lufthansa tickets to Munich, gourmet meals and hotel accommodations for four nights. The trip will include a meeting with BMW designers and a private tour of the BMW factory in Munich. The trip is scheduled for spring. The new vehicle then will be shipped to the U.S. for delivery.
