Ford scraps GT and others

Casualties of the "Way Forward" plan are the $150,000 Ford GT sports car and the Lincoln LS sedan.


The GT and LS were being built at Ford's Wixom plant, which will be closing as a result of Ford's restructuring efforts.
In addition, Ford has canceled plans to build a high-performance version of the new Sport Trac (the Adrenaline).
