Dodge Hornet Concept
The Chrysler group is coming out with some interesting cars for world market. After the Caliber, which should soon be on European markets, Dodge will show in Geneva the Hornet, B-segment concept. The front keeps the latest Dodge family-feeling, the rest is pretty squarish, with a hint of the Dodge Nitro.
The Hornet is 3.85 meters long and the wheelbase is 2.53 meters long. The engine has a capacity of 1.600 cc and, thanks to a super-charger, it will have 170 hp and 224 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Enough to compete with the Mini Cooper S, especially Dodge manages to keep prices down in Europe.
Obviously, the production series will not have the 19" rims and the ultra low tyres as standard equipment, so we can expect a less muscular look.
The interior seems interesting, with ample spaces for all occupants and the option of lowering all seats (except the driver's) to obtain a flush cargo deck.
