Austin-Healey 3000 may return in 2007

Wow! Austin-Healey may return to the marketplace. That's an automotive wake-up call if ever there was one—and a heck of a lot tastier than any cup of joe I've ever had to get rid of the morning cobwebs.

Could the new Healey 3000 be based on the "Project Tempest" concept pictured above, or look anything like this modern rendition of the classic 3000? We could know when the London Motor Show arrives, as it's rumored to be on display there.

The Austin-Healey 3000; and before that, the 100 model; were a couple of my favorite sports cars as I was growing up. I sure hope this comes to pass.
