Toyota debuts long-bed Tundras
Toyota just announced 8' 1" long-bed versions of their new Tundra full-size pickup truck at the NTEA Product Conference. Unlike the Nissan Titan, the all-new Tundra long-bed will be available on the 4-door double cab model, as well as regular cab models.
The NTEA Product Conference is an ideal forum to debut the long bed Tundra work truck," said Brian Smith, Toyota corporate manager for truck operations. "Toyota recognizes the importance of commercial business customers to Tundra's long-term success. Working with NTEA will allow their members time to develop a wide variety of Tundra-compatible work equipment and have those products to market by the time the new Tundra launches in February."
The models pictured above appear to have extended trailer mirrors that include turn signals. Unlike earlier images, they also now have a badge on the front fender, and my guess is that these are a 2WD versions.
