Chevrolet HHR Fall Limited Edition Paints It Black
DETROIT — Chevrolet's popular HHR so far has exceeded the brand's expectations, with sales expected to top 100,000 units this year. So Chevy decided to put out a special edition.
There are no major changes on the retro-style cruiser for model-year 2007, but Chevy is hoping to maintain the momentum with a new Fall Limited Edition, priced at $20,265.
The special HHR features a monochromatic black-on-black color scheme, including black chrome trim on the wheels, grille and door handles, and an ebony interior.
Chevy is planning to build only 4,000 copies of the HHR Fall Limited Edition, which is based on the 2LT package. That version includes the FE3 sport suspension package, 149-horsepower 2.4-liter Ecotec engine and a cloth interior (you can upgrade to leather). The Fall Limited Edition also bundles 17-inch wheels and tires, black outside mirrors and running boards, black roof spoiler, and tinted headlamps and foglamp lenses.
Also included as standard equipment: a 260-watt Pioneer audio system with subwoofer, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, power windows and locks, antilock brakes, split folding rear seat and power driver seat.
