Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss

Daimler has released a new set of Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss images, featuring the man who gave its name, Sir Stirling Moss, and showing both the interior and exterior of the car. Powered by a V8 engine, the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss outputs 650 hp and needs only 3.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h.

Mercedes SLR Stirling MossThe top speed of the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss is 350 km/h which is even more extreme when think about the fact the car has no windshield. With s price tag of 750,000 Euros, the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss will be build in a limited number starting from June this year.

The Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss celebrates the racing legend and Mille Miglia record-holder who drove the legendary racing cars from victory to victory during the 1950s.

Mercedes SLR McLaren 722S Roadster

When Mercedes-Benz unveiled the convertible version of its very rare SLR McLaren 722 S Coupe late last month, all it had for us were ethereal renderings of what the car would look like. This week the German automaker has given unto us a gallery's worth of high-res photography showing what is likely to become the world's fastest convertible.

Mercedes SLR McLaren 722S Roadster-2The SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S features the same 650-hp supercharged 5.5L V8 as the coupe version, but lops off its top in favor of a power soft top that can actually sustain 200+mph speeds. The only other convertible we can think of that could possibly compete is the recently spied 602-hp Bentley Continental GTC Speed, the coupe version of which can crest 200 mph.
