2007 Tokyo Auto Show Preview: Honda Inspire
TOKYO — Honda's display at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show will include redesigned versions of the Fit compact and the midsize Inspire sedan.
The latter model is based on the redesigned Accord. It uses the Accord's variable cylinder management system and goes on sale later this year in the Japan domestic market.
The redesigned Fit will begin sales this month in Japan but won't reach U.S. showrooms until after the first of the year as a 2009 model.
Honda's Tokyo display also will include a variety of advanced-technology initiatives, including next-generation thin-film solar cells and bioethanol fuel made from rice straw.
What this means to you: We're tempted to say that new Honda biofuel is the last straw. But we won't.
