Nissan Bolero and Nissan March
Nissan has made a few appearance updates to its March city car, five years since the latest-generation March came out in the home market. Known as the Micra elsewhere, the car made Nissan a household name in its category. The current nip and tuck are just to make sure it remains competitive until its replacement arrives in 2009.
The exterior changes are almost invisible: new headlights and a revised grille and bumper. But check the list of features to understand why the new March/Micra excels: body-colored door handles, intelligent key, an option to plug in iPod or other music devices, a hard-drive-based navigation system — all unusual options in this price category.
Autech, a Nissan-related tuning house, concurrently offers an updated version of its Bolero, a retro-styled body kit for the March in Japan.
