Peugeot shows off 907 coupe
Peugeot's swoopy coupe concept car will be making its first UK appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Peugeot 907 coupe is home to a 6.0-litre V12 engine with 500bhp, which will help it power up Goodwood's famous hillclimb as part of the Supercar Run on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
Built from carbon fibre, the body integrates the windscreen and glass roof into the shell for the smoothest possible shape.
There are wings in the front- and rear-quarter panels to help keep the 907 pinned to the ground, while a retractable rear spoiler means the car is stable at speed and looks good when parked.
The 907 will never be made into a production model, but its styling already influences Peugeot's models.
