Volvo S80 Adds T6 AWD Variant
GOTHENBURG, Sweden — Volvo's redesigned S80 sedan adds a new performance variant for 2008: the turbocharged T6 with all-wheel drive.
The T6 features a turbocharged 3.0-liter version of Volvo's 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine, rated at 285 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
The T6 will be equipped with all-wheel drive, including an electronically controlled hydraulic clutch that automatically distributes power between the front and rear wheels for optimum traction on different road surfaces.
