2008 Peugeot 207 HDi LeMans

To honour its long tradition of motorsport success, Peugeot Australia has secured a limited run of just 75 examples of the special edition 207 “Le Mans Series”. Based on the Peugeot 207 HDi - paying homage to its recent diesel-powered endurance racers, the special edition model features a comprehensive list of unique additions.

2008 Peugeot 207 HDi LeMansBuyer’s can choose between two colours - Bianca White and Obsidien Black, with the special edition models boasting a red stripe running down the centre of the car and lion’s head insignia on the doors. The 1.6 HDi engine delivers maximum power of 80kW maximum torque of 240Nm from just 1750rpm. Equipped with a Diesel Particle Filter System (FAP), fuel consumption is just 4.8 litres per 100km in the combined cycle, while emitting only 126 grams of CO2 per km.

The 207 “Le Mans Series” is distinguished on the exterior with several features as follows:
- Sport front bumper with Shadow aluminium grille
- Black Chrome headlights with AFS
- Body coloured side mouldings, bumpers strips and side view mirror
- Long racing stripe trimmed along the bonnet, roof, and rear spoiler
- Decal accents include a Peugeot logo striping on the doors and Le Mans Series logos on the tailgate
- Multispoke 17-inch Pitlane aluminium wheels
- Rear spoiler
- Chrome exhaust extension

The 207 “Le Mans Series” is now on sale from only $31,990 plus dealer delivery and on-road costs.

Peugeot 207 No 1 in Europe

In its first full year on sale, the Peugeot 207 has become the No 1 best selling car in Europe. Between January 2007 and December 2007 the Peugeot 207 sold 437,505 vehicles, out selling the second placed car, the Volkswagen Golf.

Peugeot 207Since its launch in the UK in July 2006, the Peugeot 207 range has expanded from the initial three and five door hatchback models, to the stunning 207 CC, the sporty 207 GTi THP 175 and the innovative and practical 207 SW.

In the UK in 2007 the Peugeot 207 was the sixth best selling car and the highest placed French car. Since its launch 18 months ago, almost 100,000 vehicles have been sold in the UK.

The Peugeot 207 range starts at only £9,295 for the three door 1.4 litre Urban version, through to the top of the range 207 CC GT HDi at £17,345.
